GRANDPA'S FLOWERS - 6-21-09
What a wonderful growing year this has been for flowers, lots of rain and not to hot. The blossoms are late this year but the foliage is lush and big. The flowers are just starting to come into their own and will be at peak in another two weeks so all of the company for Heidi's Graduation party and Grandpa's 70 th birthday will get to see it at its best in an up year. Judy and I are doing fine and Happy Trails to all of the FATHERS today too. I had a stint put in my left leg 3 days ago so am a little tired and sore. I should be the bionic man once I get all the stints in place. Ron & Judy

T-GIVING & WEDDING WEEK-END
Thanksgiving, 2008, was a family reunion of sorts in Frankenmuth. Family members came from far and wide for our nephew Scott, and Kelly's wedding and decended on the Beller household. Grandma Judy cooked dinner for 32 of us on Thanksgiving, serving two turkeys and a ham, along with all the trimmings. We managed to find beds for everyone, well, maybe not beds but places to sleep. Between couches and air mattresses we managed. Friday was a lazy rest day and left overs were the order of the day. Saturday was wedding day and was rather hectic in the morning with showers and everyone getting ready. Eric, Maria, and Jake were in the wedding and they all looked so nice in their tuxes and dress. The wedding was in Bay City at 1:00 PM and was very beautiful. The festivities began in Frankenmuth at the Black Forest Restaurant around 5:00 PM. The food and drinks were just perfect and everyone had a great time. People began heading home on Sunday morning and it was a wonderful family week-end. Eric, Maria, and boys stayed until Wednesday and we had a great visit. On Monday we went to Bronner and the boys got to see Santa. They got to see all of their families and the Great Great Grandmas too, Elsie and Dorothy.
From Frankenmuth Judy and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we look forward to another family reunion soon.
